This photo was taken when a very young looking Williams played a season for the Minneapolis Millers in AA before getting called up to the Red Sox. He played in 148 games for the Millers hitting 43 HRs, knocking in 142 runs and batting .366, all good enough for him to win the American Association Triple Crown.
