Known as the First Lady of America Cinema.
She was an American Actress, Director & Screenwriter. Her career spanned 75 years.
She starred in silent shorts and had a leading role in the highest grossing film of the Silent Era, D.W. Griffiths “ Birth of a Nation ”.
