Original authentic used French Theatrical poster for ' Giant 'starring: Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson, and James Dean. Fantastic large image of James Dean. The movie and this poster were re-released in Paris, France in 1991 - making it over 30 years old! This was James Dean's third and final movie and earned him his second and last Academy Award nomination.
The film is a story of a Texan rancher Bick Benedict who visits a Maryland farm to buy a prize horse. Whilst he is there, he meets and falls in love with the owner's daughter Leslie, they are married immediately and return to his ranch. The story of the family and its rivalry with cowboy Jeff Rink unfolds across two generations.
The poster has been linen-backed to help preserve it and beautifully framed in black lacquer measuring approx. 50 3/4" x 66 1/2.
