Country singer Johnny Cash (1932 - 2003) and his wife June Carter Cash (1929 - 2003) leave the front gate of Kansas State Prison. Circa 1970.
He played there in the morning and then he went over and performed at the federal prison. He enjoyed playing to audiences of inmates because they were the most enthusiastic.
