Compared to working with rabbits for Presto, other Rush album covers were easy!
When Hugh and Neil began conjuring ideas for the album cover, their nascent ideas involved magicians with capes and top hats. It was all a bit too cliché.
“Then we started thinking, well, what if the hat was there and the bunnies just keep coming out of it by themselves?” says Neil. “The bunny in the hat is cool enough already, but then you realize that what’s happening is that bunnies just keep jumping out of this hat.”
