RARE AND UNIQUE ONE OF A KIND SET-UP FEATURING A HAND-SIGNED ERNEST HEMINGWAY CHECK PAYABLE TO FRED C.N. PARKE, THE TAXIDERMIST WHO HEMINGWAY USED FOR HIS FAMOUS " BLUE MARLIN " AND A POSTMARKED ENVELOPE ADDRESSED FROM PARKE TO HEMINGWAY IN KEY WEST.
RARE hand-signed Hemingway check payable to Fred C.N. Parke dated March First,1932At this point in time, Hemingway was moving to Cuba, and the taxidermy was most likely for his new home there, ' Finca Vigia '. Framed with an EXTREMELY RARE March 1937 postmarked envelope addressed to Hemingway in Key West from Parke. Also framed with image of Hemingway to complete the set-up.
Hemingway collectibles are very desirable and difficult to obtain.
Hemmingway's signature has been James Spence Authenticated.
